Our BOYARE HARMONY DAY CELEBRATION is on THIS FRIDAY MAY 17.
Parents, family members, friends and neighbours are invited to join with us for the Harmony Day assembly and lunch.
HARMONY DAY ASSEMBLY 11:45AM - 12:45PM This will take place in the undercover area at 11:45am. We have some special guest performers coming along to entertain us and our Harmony Hero winners will be announced.
WHOLE SCHOOL CELEBRATION LUNCH 12:45PM – 1:40PM We will be having a whole school multicultural lunch straight after the Harmony Day assembly. This will take place on the shady grassed area outside the student services office and in the gated Kindy and PP area. BYO chair and picnic blanket.
Students are asked to bring a plate of food from their culture to share with their class. Hot food must be brought in just before the lunch starts as we will not have time to reheat or cook any food. Please make sure you use a throw away container so the clean-up is easier and we don’t lose your dish. ALL HALAL food must be labelled.
CULTURAL DRESS Come along in your national costume so we can see all your wonderful traditional outfits. This is the best part of Harmony Day, seeing all the staff, families and students dress up. Everyone always looks so happy and proud. If you do not have a national costume, you can wear orange which is the colour for Harmony Day.
