Physical Education

Students at Boyare Primary School enjoy a wide range of physical activities and sports. Our programs include Fundamental Movement Skills, traditional Australian sports, physical movement activities such as dance, yoga and fitness circuits, as well as a variety of lesser known sports. Lessons are designed to support different abilities, interests and learning needs, ensuring every student can participate and succeed.

 

Throughout the year, students benefit from specialised coaching programs and have opportunities to represent the school at various interschool events. Physical education is delivered through regular class lessons, as well as Junior, Middle and Senior School Sport sessions. Additional lunchtime clinics and afterschool programs give students even more chances to build skills and stay active.

 

With access to a broad range of equipment and facilities, students at Boyare Primary School are encouraged to stay active, try new things and develop healthy lifelong habits. Our approach emphasises teamwork, confidence, leadership, resilience and positive sportsmanship, supporting students to grow both physically and socially.
